Too often as businesses, we make our decisions in fear of what our competition will think about us. Will they copy my website, steal my intellectual property, will they sue me, what features or services do they provide so I can mirror them, etc, etc.
My philosophy when it comes to competition, keep a side eye on them so you know what they are up to but focus on building your business and don’t give them much thought or energy. Focus on your customer needs!
Your larger competitors are more clueless than you think and are less able to focus on what you are doing and even if they do, are less able to respond to anything you do until AFTER you’ve already leap frogged them.
